About CG Asset Finder

CG Asset Finder is a free search service for computer graphics resources. It sends one query to multiple independent source sites, normalizes the returned metadata, and presents the results in one place so artists can compare sources without repeating the same search on every website.

What the service searches

The searchable catalog includes 3D models, textures, materials, VFX elements, After Effects resources, plugins, scripts, tutorials, and other assets used by CG, motion design, visualization, and post-production professionals. The current source list and live availability are published on the supported sites page.

Results are links and metadata from external websites. CG Asset Finder does not host, store, sell, or redistribute the files shown in search results. Availability, licensing, pricing, and download conditions are controlled by each source site, so users should verify the terms on the original page before using an asset.

How results are produced

Search requests are run across the selected sources. The service extracts titles, thumbnails, dates, categories, and source URLs where available, then ranks or groups the combined results. Some sources may respond slowly, block automated requests, or be temporarily unavailable; CG Asset Finder isolates those failures so other source results can still be returned.

The interface is designed for people, while machine-readable guidance is available in llms.txt and as Markdown through content negotiation on the homepage. Agents can use those resources to understand when the service is appropriate and which public endpoints are safe to call.

Contact and corrections

If a source identity, link, description, or legal statement needs correction, use the channels listed on the contact page. Privacy and legal requests have dedicated addresses so they can be handled by the right process.
